Tell Novato City Council to create a Climate Action Committee which includes residents, especially youth, to help Novato achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2030.
I ask Novato City Council to immediately constitute and empower a Climate Action Committee to:
Ensure Novato achieves net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2030.
Fully support Novato's Climate Emergency Resolution.
Promote justice and equity for all Novato residents through this action, never forgetting that BIPOC, elderly, unhoused, and people with disabilities suffer disproportionately from the impacts of climate change.
